Legendary and ultra-rare McLaren F1 spotted in California


The legendary and ultra-rare McLaren F1 was recently spotted cruising down Highway 47 in California. The car enthusiast who captured the red supercar took to Reddit to share a couple of pictures.

In his post, he says that he is humbled to have witnessed this iconic automobile with his own two eyes. And we totally agree because spotting this one on public roads is really a rare sight.

McLaren F1 spotted in California

Apart from its 6.1L BMW V12 engine, this supercar is known for its unique 3-seat central driving position. With 618 hp to exploit, it achieved speeds that made it the fastest production car of its era. Also, the McLaren F1 GTR won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1995, in its first attempt.
